Basketball season and March madness may be long gone, but after such an amazing season for the Cavaliers, I find it fitting to get up close and personal with one of the stars of the team. So this week you will be getting to know a little more about a junior point-guard with an amazing three point shot, the guy who is able to make that last floating shot with incredible style and who knows where the camera is to get those fans and ladies cheering. Luckily for the ladies and basketball fans here in Charlottesville, this guard picked UVA and will be sticking around for another attempt at greatness among the madness.
Fanatic: Do you have a nickname?
Sean: You can call me Slice.

You can call me Slice.
F: What goal would you like to achieve?
S: NCAA tourney is something I’m looking forward to again.
F: What do you want to be when you grow up?
S: A professional basketball player (of course)
F: What’s the first thing you do when you wake up before a game?
S: Thank God for another day
F: Who was your first hero?
S: My mom
F: When did you start playing basketball?
S: The first ball I got in my hands was when I was five.
F: When did you decide you wanted to play college basketball?
S: When schools started offering scholarships, I guess it meant something, and good stuff has come from it.
F: Why did you choose UVA?
S: It was close to home, Philly, and closer to my sick mom; plus my other choices, UCLA and Kansas were farther.
F: The question everyone wants to know the answer to, are you planning on going pro?
S: I hope to sometime.
F: You’ve been a valuable player this year, what do you think pushes you during games?
S: The work I put in at practice.
F: Any advice to future college basketball athletes?
S: Play hard and do not live or play with regret.
F: Do the fans help you in any way?
S: Yes, they are great motivators.
F: When you are introduced at home games, there is a great deal of girls that yell out for you, what would you say to this?
S: I’m honored, and I hope they yell louder next season.

| Jadie De Lille is a first year at UVA, therefore undecided but inclining towards a major in physics. Although she may not look it, she was born and raised in Cozumel, Mexico. She has been an Olympic windsurfer since the age of 10, and in 2004 she gave up her shot of making it to the Olympics in Greece to pursue kiteboarding. Being far away from the ocean in Charlottesville, she has turned to The Fanatic to get involved in a different way with sports at UVA.
