Editor's Note: Remember all the way back to February 27? We don't either, so we decided to bring back this Cavalier Interview with Will Harris for your reading enjoyment, and reminiscing. By the way, Carter and Will are friends, so if the questions seem a little direct...it's cool.

The Fanatic Magazine guest reporter Carter White sat down with sophomore forward Will Harris of the Virginia men's basketball team, to talk basketball, basketball, and, well, basketball.

Carter White: Why haven’t you been playing this year?

Will Harris: Too many injuries.

C: What’s wrong with you right now?

W: I got some back problems early in the year, something is wrong with my big toe, and I had a broken rib. I think that’s it – just a lot of nagging injuries that won’t go away.

C: Can you comment on Ryan Pettinella’s ridiculous warm-up routine?

W: Ryan always does that routine. It’s a good warm-up. It gets his hands ready for the game and works on his dribble. It’s like pre-game work out, really. I think I’m probably going to adopt it.

C: What’s been the most disappointing about this season so far?

W: I think the most disappointing thing is just not being able to play – just not being able to play as much as I want because of the injuries. Losing a lot of close games is pretty disappointing, too. But we still have a little time to turn it around.

C: Alright, we were both in Duke together at the same time, how awesome is Camden Indoor Stadium?

W: It’s alright. It’s everything that it looks like on TV – they’ve got good uniforms, a good student section. It’s a good environment, a good home-court advantage for them and a tough place to play. I’m not really going to hype up Duke though (laughter).

C: Did you ever play football in high school?

W: No, never played football – just basketball. I played two-hand touch in fifth grade but that’s it really, and a little bit of baseball when I was younger. I never played any organized sports besides basketball.

C: How many times could you bench 185?

W: Ah, a couple times. If I did it with no warm up, then probably like 16 or 17.

C: Where do you see Sean Singletary going in the NBA draft?

W: I don’t know. If I were a GM I’d take him in the first round with my pick, but I’m not a GM. I think he’s got a real good shot – he’s built a pretty good resume for himself, and when he goes to the workouts he’s going to kill those.

C: Can you beat Miami?

W: We could beat Miami; we could beat a lot of teams if we just come out and play hard. I think we’ve got a good chance to beat them.

C: Has [Head Coach Dave] Leitao let you guys back into your lockers yet?

W: Oh yeah, yeah we’ve been back in our lockers. But that was something that he needed to do – something to light a fire under us.

C: So what’d you all do when you weren’t in the locker room? Just change in the hall?

W: No, we changed in the visitor’s locker room.

C: Any thoughts on Mike Scott?

W: Mike is good – he’s starting to play a little forward now, and I think he’s made a lot of strides.
